Another apology? Come ON...

Where the heck have I been? Not posting in this long is kind of weird, even for me, right? Well trust me, it's really tragic, even for me! Trying to keep up even with the sheer amount of notifications I get is awful. (I wish they weren't just group things and art to look at, but y'know, that's cool, I can be famous later (; haha.) The reason I've been gone for so many months is that once I started college, my life took a HUUUUGE turn and I've just been WAY too busy to do any other things! I've been in art classes, mind you - I AM AN ART MAJOR! - but I really don't have much time at all for dA right now. Yes, I'm not coming back quite yet. I wish I could, but I'm actually in the middle of a horribly hectic week right now and only decided to make this entry because after telling 9 new followers "thank you" mostly months late, I figured I finally needed to take a few minutes to explain to anyone who would read this! I will be done with my freshman year in about 2 months though, and I've taken plenty of photos in my absence (Puerto Rico and Italy 
), it's just gonna be a matter of editing and...maybe working around a potential art job I hope to apply for when I get time to do THAT.. college is so super busy ): All my free time goes to stress relieving things, I really do love coming back to messages and favorites and watches and seeing my views having gone up by so much though. You don't even know how much it means to me, especially now that I'm in college in a major that makes everyone ask where and how I'm going to get a job when I graduate. You guys really inspire me, and I hope that my absence for these months hasn't let you down at all. It's just something I've had to do. Maybe I'll have improved a bit over the past year? And maybe I will as I continue down this path? Only time will tell I suppose!
I hope you all are having a wonderful year and have a wonderful next 2 months though! I'll try to keep up with comments and stuff still, but I'm still super duper busy. So if you see that I just now responded to something from pre-February, there ya go! Sorry!

..but right now I really am busy! With art things, mostly! I'm in AP Studio and the projects have me swamped, so I'm not really doing much other art for the moment. Plus, y'know, senior year of high school. I'm trying to make a college decision right now. This stuff is stressful!
However - I am leaving tomorrow for Ecuador (the Galapagos, oh yeah!) and will be there til the 17th, so I'm hoping for some great pictures. It's been a while.

It's been well over a year since I posted a new journal entry. I'm at school right now (don't worry, it's my free!) so I'm not gonna say a lot or fill you in on my life (as if you really care). I just have a question for y'all!
I have off next week, and I'm hoping to put a little bit of my time into editing photos and getting them posted. It was requested by my biggest fan on Instagram that I get to working on pictures I took while at the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Festival, which I really do need to get around to... but, I was also considering trying to get to older pictures. I have literally thousands of files that need work, so I tried to narrow it down. Options for my attempted focus next week are:
1) Hot air balloon festival photos, as was requested of me in the first place.
2) Underwater photos.
a. Old underwater photos that I re-edit so they look better. (Since I got Lightroom and have enhanced my Photoshop skills, I figured this could be kinda fun for me. I could either make new posts or replace the old photos with fixed-up ones.)
b. "New" underwater photos. Ones that I haven't yet worked on or posted, although they were taken within the past 2 summers (most likely this past summer alone, though).
I might not get any feedback, and I may not even get as much time as I hope to, but I figured it's worth a shot to ask.

Testing, testing.. I'm still alive!!

Wow, I haven't written a journal entry since before sophomore year started... How much life has changed since then. You could almost say I'm not the same person anymore. Almost.
So obviously I can't even attempt to cover what's been going on in my life this whole time; even if I did/could, you REALLY have a lot of time to waste if you read it. Honestly, I shouldn't even be writing this right now.. I'm supposed to be working on my Jewish Confirmation project and speech... But my mind is in so many places right now that I somehow ended up 'realizing' that I should just update this before my mom gets home..(; haha. So ya, here's a few of the recent things for those of you who are truly interested:
~I'm 16 and a half...well, I was in February.
~I'm now lacking one of my grandmothers due to pancreatic cancer.
~Sophomore year is so hard.. It's truly doing all it can to break me. I have no life. Not that I had one before this year, but I made a vow to try and make friends this year (or even be able to talk more.. I even had my first actual boyfriend briefly), so trying to fix everything at once just doesn't work.
~Whatever commercial says that depression hurts (Cymbalta, right? I dunno.) is right. I'm not giving you my life's story here, but geez, when things get so stressful that you don't sleep a full night's worth for days at a time (combined!), things can really pile up on ya. Ya, some people can handle it; I'm not one of them and never thought I was.
Now that's enough I suppose since I don't know who actually reads all this stuff.. Quick ARTISTIC note: I am terribly sorry I don't update that much and that what I do put up isn't that incredible. I have taken thousands of pictures (some low thousands, so I don't seem dramatic, because I'm being honest), but I just don't have the time to go through, pick, edit, get opinions, load, etc all of the good ones. I'm truly sorry, I do my best when I can. I just got back from Europe this week so when I can I will have things from there and hopefully I can continue some previous series as well. I still have TONS of old photos (you couldn't believe how many underwater ones are sitting around from last summer) that I haven't even EDITED yet so when the chance arises, given I'm not feeling dead, things WILL be done. Don't expect amazing titles or descriptions though, (: haha. I also plan to attempt more writing and drawing, as I'm getting more serious about college now. They aren't as good (my drawing style seriously changes almost every week when I get to draw a lot) as my photography, which admittedly takes me less time per submission (not submitting, but the piece itself), but even just things I can submit and probably scrap later after some improvements would really help me improve myself. Thank you for those of you who still watch and favorite my stuff, you guys make me so happy it brings me to tears sometimes.. You keep my dreams alive<3

End of Summer Update!

So Im sorry that once again I have managed to disappear...But I swear I had a reason!! (Well, more than one.)
-- Now I'm 16! (:
-- Got all 4 wisdom teeth out. ): Having unexplained complications and need to go re-revisit the doctor.
-- My face has been really swollen, so pictures of me are something Id like to avoid til then. Any local models? ( Seriously, I still want someone ): )
-- School starts Monday. Hello, 10th grade!! ( D: )
-- Ive been doing my summer math homework (trying to get into a better class)...12 page math packet that my parents are having me do repeatedly til I get everything right on my own. Luckily I already did all my summer reading in June...
-- Been learnin' photoshop. Anything you think I should try? Lemme know (: I love suggestions.
-- I miss you guys, so thanks for not ditching me!! Feel free to hit me up anytime (x
